Jack McCall is a motivational humorist and writer. Over the course of his speaking career he has spoken for thousands of audiences in 47 of the 50 states.
An award winning newspaper columnist, he is the author of four books including: Fireflies in Winter, Snowflakes in Summer Time, Daffodils in Autumn, and Falling Leaves in Spring Time.
Jack began his career in livestock marketing. A fascinating journey followed. Over the years Jack has enjoyed the roles of disc jockey, licensed auctioneer, banker, financial services professional, and healthcare executive. His rich and diverse business background allows Jack to tailor speaking presentations for a wide range of audiences.
At the age of 17 Jack began teaching the adult Sunday school class at a “big”, little country church. It was there he first began perfecting his storytelling craft. He still teaches Sunday school to this day.
A gifted singer, Jack sang with a men’s trio, called “The Gallatin Brothers,” for over twenty-five years. The “brothers” performed for local events in the Middle Tennessee area.
An avid mule rider, Jack McCall has been a regular visitor to the Grand Canyon over the past fifteen years. He has made the overnight ride to Phantom Ranch at the bottom of the canyon over a dozen times. When it comes to mule riding, he has firsthand knowledge of what the term “Edge Walker” means.
Jack has been married to “that blue-eyed blonde” Kathy for 33 years. They have three sons, J. Brim, Jonathan, and Joseph, two daughter-in-laws, Emily and Katie, and two grand daughters, Oakley Madison and Elizabeth Jane.
